Hands on people behind the parts counter

RaceHouse runs on people who know that a race car is never just one part. A brake change affects pedal feel, pad choice, fluid behaviour and the way the driver trusts the car into the first corner. Our team works through those links with a steady eye on the real job, not on glossy talk.

Midrand gives us a useful base for drivers moving between Johannesburg, Pretoria, Kyalami, Centurion and further afield. The conversations in the shop, showroom and workshop often cover the same points: what the car is doing now, where it feels loose, where heat is creeping in and what the driver wants from the next outing.

  • Brake Upgrade Planning for track and club use
  • Coilover Setup and Alignment Checks
  • Cooling System Checks for hard driving
  • Safety fitment advice for seats, harnesses and cages

Thabo Chetty keeps the wider picture in view

Thabo Chetty leads the business with a close eye on the full customer journey, from first parts discussion through to workshop planning and track side preparation. He pays attention to how each build sits together, because a strong result depends on the match between driver, car and components.

He spends time on the practical questions that matter to racers in South Africa. That includes whether a car needs firmer braking, better cooling for longer sessions, or a cleaner fuel system layout before the next event. His approach is direct, useful and grounded in the kind of detail that saves time later.

  • Supports planning across track, rally and club racing
  • Helps set priorities when several changes are needed
  • Works closely with the workshop team on fitment paths

Sales and customer guidance that stays specific

Anele Malherbe keeps the sales side precise and technical. She listens for the way a car is used, then helps narrow the parts list to what actually suits the setup, instead of sending a driver off with a pile of mismatched items.

Her day often touches brake pads and fluid, clutches, cooling parts and safety equipment. She is also the person who helps make sure the customer gets a clear explanation of what each item does in the car, and what the fitment order should be when several upgrades sit on the same build.

  • Brake pad and fluid selection for different circuit demands
  • Advice on seat, harness and fuel cell fitment planning
  • Parts guidance for local and out of town racers

Workshop coordination that keeps the car moving

Johan Gumede coordinates the workshop flow, which matters when a car is booked for suspension work, brake checks and a longer setup session all in one go. He keeps the sequence sensible so the team can work cleanly and the driver gets a car that is ready for the next stage.

He also links closely with setup days and alignment work. A car that has just had coilovers fitted may need corner weighting, then alignment, then a final look at ride height and clearance before it heads out. Johan makes sure those steps do not get treated like separate jobs when they clearly are not.

  • Schedules fitment work around the build order
  • Tracks parts, labour and workshop progress
  • Supports setup days with practical workshop control

Technical eyes on suspension, cooling and safety

Lerato Ncube is the technical adviser for the details that can change how a race car feels in the first lap and the last. She works through issues around suspension balance, cooling efficiency, brake feel and the position of safety gear inside the cabin.

Morne Naidoo focuses on suspension setup. He looks at coilovers, bushes, alignment, corner weighting and ride control with the sort of attention that matters when a car is running over kerbs or holding speed through a long corner. Between them, the technical side of the team keeps the advice grounded in real movement, heat and load.

  • Cooling System Checks for radiators and oil coolers
  • Seat Positioning and Harness Fitment Checks
  • Roll Cage Fit Advice for tighter cabins

Logistics, support and the people who finish the job

Sibusiso Mashaba handles logistics with a firm grip on stock movement, local collection flow and the parts that need to land in the right place before a fitting slot. When a racer is preparing for an event, that back office work matters just as much as the front counter talk.

Candice Phiri keeps customer support calm and organised, making sure the details attached to a quote, order or workshop booking are kept straight. Around the team, there is a practical rhythm to how things get done, and it suits racers who need straight answers and proper follow through.

RaceHouse also supports fuel system layout, clutch and shift setup, and track setup days for drivers across Midrand, Johannesburg, Pretoria, Kyalami, Durban, Cape Town and Port Elizabeth. Ask for any of us by name when you get in touch.
